How your donation can help shape democracy in Tunisia

The Journalism Foundation is setting up a course in Tunisia for journalists to learn about “Reporting in a democracy.” Using lecturers from the Department of Journalism at the City University, London, the foundation plans to run one-week courses in Tunis, for journalists from every media, including print, radio, television and digital. We hope that many of the participants will come from outside the capital, and we are working alongside the Tunisian journalists’ union to make sure the course will represent people from cities and towns across the country. The more donations we receive the more people we can invite to take part in an exercise that we hope will help Tunisian journalists report their new world.

The introductory course The Journalism Foundation is offering will cost £600 per candidate. Your donation will allow us to provide more courses to more students. We appreciate donations large and small, and all money raised through this appeal will go directly towards our Tunisia project.
