‘Andrew Neil: ‘Did Murdoch forget he was under oath?”
Former Sunday Times editor Andrew Neil has questioned the validity of Rupert Murdoch’s evidence to the Leveson Inquiry. In written evidence to the inquiry yesterday Neil questioned whether Murdoch had “forgotten he was testifying under oath” when he told the Leveson Inquiry he had never asked politicians for anything.

Reporters Without Borders have reported that that Libyan cameramen Abdelqader Fosouk and Youssuf Badi have been held in Bani Walid, 150 km southeast of Tripoli, since July 7, the day of nationwide parliamentary elections which they had gone to cover.
